Message From Chairman

I am happy to present Vivekanand Public School (VPS) located at V&PO Garhi Harsaru, running under the aegis of Devika Jan kalyan utthan charitable society (DJKUCS),Reg. No. 2935. It is a non profit society of people. 

The school is established in the name of Swami Vivekanand ji on his ideology of true charity to the people especially the rural poors and down trodden masses of the nation. Giving education to the individual is of the permanent nature remaining with the soul even when it departs.

Education must reach to their door steps of the poor masses of nation. This, the basic aim of VPS is to provide the same at a minimal cost, if not totally free. Thus our fee structure catered for all in surrounding rural area. With the due permission from the Haryana government , the school was opened in the year 2003 in two rooms of tube well house located in the land purchased in year 2000. The sole purpose of the school managing committee, staff (teaching & non-teaching ) is to make the best school of the rural area surrounding our location in the true spirits of remembering eternal mantra of upanishad  “ARISE,AWAKE AND STOP NOT TILL THE GOAL IS REACHED”

The founding Principal of the school was Mrs. Urmila a renewed educationist and great teacher, who had 35 yrs. Of teaching experience .The school made gradual and step by step progress, and is permanent recognised member and is CBSE affiliated upto class X . (Affiliation no. 531344).

Lastly I conclude with the words of Bharat Ratna Ex. President of India DR. APJ Abdul Kalam on the real education. It is not great building, great facilities or great advertisements that you give quality education, but a loving education from great teachers does. Education at all levels has to be delivered in an integrated, way by great syllabus while promoting affinity between parents, students and teachers
